Field Service Engineer 3

This position belongs to Lam Research’s Customer Support organization, which helps customers maintain reliable and productive semiconductor manufacturing operations. The engineer installs, relocates, services, and troubleshoots complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems, including component-level fault isolation and corrective repairs. They also coordinate equipment updates, document service activity, develop customer action plans, and act as a trusted technical representative. The role includes coaching less experienced engineers and staying current through training and certification. It is well suited to an experienced semiconductor equipment professional who is comfortable working in cleanrooms, traveling extensively, and supporting customers across varied schedules.
