Sr. Principal EO Signal Image Processing Engineer - 4

This engineer will lead modeling and simulation work for electro-optical and infrared seeker systems, including closed-loop six-degree-of-freedom simulations, scene generation, and realistic hardware and environment models. The position involves creating and optimizing signal-processing algorithms, evaluating seeker performance, and correlating simulation results with laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight-test data. The engineer will work closely with guidance, navigation and control, systems, software, firmware, and hardware organizations to support requirements, verification, and technical reviews. It is suited to an experienced EO/IR, image-processing, or optical-simulation specialist who can independently solve complex problems and guide team execution. Strong candidates will also enjoy mentoring engineers and improving development, testing, and configuration-management practices.
