This position leads the end-to-end planning and execution of flight test activities for the GPI Flight Test Program. The successful candidate will guide engineers across hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, propulsion, sensors, manufacturing, supply chain, and mission assurance to develop, integrate, test, and deliver flight-specific systems. Responsibilities include defining test objectives and requirements, managing trade studies and risks, coordinating test campaigns and launch operations, and communicating progress and decisions to senior leaders, partners, vendors, and customers. The role suits an experienced systems engineer and technical program leader with strong team-management skills, defense systems knowledge, and the ability to balance performance, cost, schedule, and quality in a high-consequence environment. U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and eligibility for Special Program Access are required, with travel to support flight campaigns.
