This position leads the engineering effort responsible for designing, integrating, and executing ground test configurations and support equipment for advanced defense systems. The Ground Test IPT Lead coordinates mechanical, electrical, software, propulsion, sensor, manufacturing, supply chain, and mission assurance functions while managing requirements, schedules, risks, and program objectives. The role serves as a key technical representative to program leadership, customers, vendors, and U.S. and international partners, including organizations involved in Navy and qualification testing. Success requires strong systems engineering judgment, experience directing complex test campaigns, and the ability to communicate technical trade-offs to both engineering and executive audiences. It is well suited to an experienced defense or aerospace engineer who has led integrated teams and delivered sophisticated systems under demanding cost, schedule, security, and performance constraints.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related technical field with 12 years of experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceU.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance; ability to obtain SAP accessExperience leading technical teams or serving as an IPT or technical leadKnowledge of Department of Defense systems engineering practicesExperience directing engineering design, integration, testing, and customer deliveryExperience developing and managing project schedules
