Data Center Technicians INTERN

The intern joins Microsoft’s data center operations function, helping deploy and maintain servers, cabling, storage devices, and related hardware across onsite facilities. Daily work may include diagnosing equipment issues, processing service tickets, moving hardware safely, and handling data-bearing components. The position can also support the Datacenter Inventory and Asset Management Team with receiving, shipping, and stock control. It is suited to someone studying information technology or a related discipline who wants practical experience with computer hardware and infrastructure. Candidates should be comfortable with physical activity, varied work hours, communication across teams, and developing new technical skills.
