Security Operations Engineer II

This engineer works within Axon’s Security Operations Center, handling alerts, phishing reports, identity-related events, cloud compromises, and other escalated incidents through resolution. They build and maintain automation, integrations, detections, infrastructure, and CI/CD processes that reduce repetitive work and improve response consistency. The role also supports access operations, audit evidence collection, compliance-sensitive tooling, and post-incident improvements such as new playbooks and detection updates. It suits a security-minded engineer with practical incident response experience, strong Python and shell skills, and familiarity with cloud, identity, SIEM, EDR, APIs, and infrastructure as code. The position is based onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona or Seattle, Washington, includes on-call participation, and requires passing an FBI background check for CJIS access.
