Senior Engineer I, Product Intelligence

This engineer will examine semiconductor product and process information and develop data-driven methods for improving manufacturing performance. The work includes creating, testing, and refining machine learning and virtual metrology models, as well as applying statistical and predictive techniques to real-world engineering problems. The position sits at the intersection of data engineering, process development, and hardware characterization, requiring collaboration with both technical and non-technical partners. It is well suited to someone with doctoral-level training or substantial post-master’s experience who can take models from initial design through implementation and validation. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with datasets of varying size are important for success.

Requirements

PhD in data science, data engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or a master’s degree plus 4+ years of relevant experienceExperience developing custom machine learning algorithms and modelsProficiency working with both small and large datasetsExperience using statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning to deliver measurable resultsKnowledge of data implementation, dataset extraction, hardware characterization, or virtual metrologyExperience with end-to-end model development, including optimization, A/B testing, and experimental design
