Senior Engineer, Software Engineering (QA)

This position belongs to ASM’s software engineering and quality assurance function, supporting software that operates complex electromechanical semiconductor equipment. The engineer will build automated test suites, perform validation in simulations and on physical tools, investigate results, and provide feedback on software quality and performance. Responsibilities also include maintaining QA workflows, developing test standards, managing test cases, and coordinating with process engineering on system improvements. The role suits an experienced QA, software test, or development engineer who is comfortable reading production code and working across mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Candidates with semiconductor equipment experience, CI/CD knowledge, and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, TestRail, or TestComplete would be especially well aligned.
