Software Engineer - Early Career (Fall 2026)

This position sits within ASM’s Software Engineering function, developing applications that operate robotics, gas systems, temperature controls, and other semiconductor equipment. The engineer will design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain Windows and real-time software while investigating issues across software, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role also involves supporting customer installations, working with field engineers, improving test coverage, and contributing to architecture and technical documentation. It is well suited to recent Computer Science or Computer Engineering graduates who have strong C++ skills and an interest in embedded, machine-control, or semiconductor technologies. Candidates should be comfortable learning complex systems, analyzing root causes, and collaborating with international teams, with occasional global travel expected.
