Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Litho Module Engineer

This engineer will join Intel Foundry’s Ocotillo Technology Fabrication team and take ownership of one or more lithography-related toolsets used in production. Responsibilities span daily monitoring and troubleshooting, safety and cleanliness, tool qualification, installations, conversions, process control, and technology transfers into high-volume manufacturing. The position also involves designing experiments, developing process and equipment configurations, and improving quality, stability, productivity, and manufacturability. The engineer will collaborate with process, integration, yield, and manufacturing teams while supporting new factory or product introductions. It suits a technically strong semiconductor or metrology professional who is comfortable with statistics, cleanroom operations, ambiguity, cross-functional work, and potentially day or night on-shift support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field plus 2+ years of semiconductor or metrology experience, or a STEM master’s degreeStrong equipment troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skillsExperience in semiconductor, manufacturing, cleanroom, or lithography environmentsKnowledge of statistics and experimental design for tool matching, qualification, and process developmentAbility to collaborate across process engineering, integration, yield, and manufacturing organizationsStrong communication skills and customer focus; flexible for on-shift work
