HPC Dev Ops Engineer

This engineer will support Intel’s infrastructure operations by administering large-scale storage and backup environments used to protect and deliver critical data. Responsibilities include configuring NetApp FAS/AFF systems, managing NAS protocols and backup technologies, maintaining automation scripts, and implementing scalable infrastructure changes. The position also oversees monitoring, migrations, capacity forecasting, hardware maintenance, performance tuning, and backup integrity. It is suited to a storage or systems professional with a STEM degree, practical enterprise NAS experience, scripting skills, and an interest in leading infrastructure projects. The role is onsite and may be based in Hillsboro, Phoenix, or Santa Clara.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM fieldEnterprise NAS experience, including NetApp storage environmentsKnowledge of NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, or FCP protocolsPython, Bash, or PowerShell automation and troubleshooting skillsExperience with NetApp FAS or AFF systemsInfrastructure project management experience preferred
