Advanced Optics / Test Technician

The technician works with engineers and researchers to assemble, align, operate, and maintain RF and optical test configurations in a controlled laboratory environment. Responsibilities include using network analyzers, oscilloscopes, lasers, fiber-optic components, and other instrumentation to collect reliable experimental data. The role requires careful adherence to test procedures, safety rules, security controls, calibration practices, and documentation standards. Experience with quantum or photonic systems, automated measurement tools, and data-analysis software would be advantageous. This position suits a hands-on technical professional with an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of relevant RF or optical testing background.
