GDMS Senior AI Governance & Risk Specialist

This position sits on the Agentic AI Governance team and is responsible for assessing how AI systems are designed, deployed, monitored, and controlled. The specialist will maintain governance inventories and risk records, evaluate agentic workflows and failure scenarios, define human oversight needs, and guide corrective actions for higher-risk applications. The work also includes translating standards and regulations into practical controls, maintaining policies, supporting audits, and reporting AI risk posture to leadership. Close collaboration is expected with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and business stakeholders. It suits an experienced technology risk or governance professional who understands AI systems in practice, can exercise independent judgment, and can balance responsible oversight with fast-moving operational needs.
