This engineer is part of Vantage’s 24/7 Site Operations function, which safeguards the infrastructure supporting mission-critical customer environments. The role performs hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs across power systems, generators, UPS equipment, switchgear, HVAC, cooling systems, and building controls. It also involves managing maintenance projects, overseeing contractors, preparing operating procedures, and tracking reliability and capacity performance. The position suits a technically capable facilities professional who is comfortable working independently, collaborating with others, and making careful decisions in a high-consequence environment. Candidates should be prepared for onsite rotating shifts, emergency response, physical work, and occasional training travel.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance experience; 3+ years preferredExperience with critical power, generators, UPS, switchgear, HVAC, cooling, and building automation systemsAbility to interpret blueprints, electrical single-line diagrams, and schematicsTechnical writing experience creating and maintaining MOPs, SOPs, and EOPsReliable transportation and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverageSuccessful completion of a background check and ability to meet physical job demands
