Field Process Engineer 4

This position sits within Lam Research’s Customer Support organization and supports the performance of equipment and processes at customer facilities. The engineer develops and improves process recipes, runs experiments, analyzes data, investigates deviations, and recommends hardware or process changes. They also support new installations, beta evaluations, technology introductions, and customer training while coordinating closely with field service and engineering groups. The role is suited to an experienced semiconductor process professional, particularly someone with etch expertise, strong SPC or DOE knowledge, and confidence working directly with customers. Success requires technical judgment, clear communication, organizational discipline, and readiness to work in cleanroom and on-call settings.
