Senior Digital Hardware Designer

This engineer researches, designs, integrates, and tests digital hardware used in high-consequence national security applications. Work includes schematic development, complex multilayer PCB design, signal integrity evaluation, and hardware built around processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and system-on-chip devices. The position sits within GDMS’s hardware engineering function and involves collaboration on customer-focused programs, adherence to engineering practices, and identifying opportunities for technology and AI-driven improvements. As a senior contributor, the designer provides technical guidance to junior engineers and applies independent judgment to challenging assignments. It is well suited to an experienced electrical or digital hardware engineer who is comfortable with defense programs, advanced board design, and classified-work requirements.
