This engineer will work within the Space Systems SEIT Nuclear Surety team, supporting certification of vehicle designs and demonstrating compliance with safety, compatibility, and armament requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating analyses and qualification tests, maintaining controlled design records, and applying systems engineering practices such as MBSE, verification planning, and requirements traceability. The position also involves guiding diverse engineering teams and contributing to technical decisions involving risk, cost, opportunities, and acquisition strategy. It suits an experienced systems, electrical, software, or related engineer who can work across multiple disciplines and communicate effectively with government and program stakeholders. A Secret clearance is required before starting, with occasional travel and possible relocation support.
