This position supports the GPI program within a multidisciplinary engineering organization responsible for end-to-end development of launch vehicles and interceptor systems. The engineer will define and decompose requirements, develop electrical architectures and interfaces, assess digital communications, integrate FPGA and embedded computing solutions, and support guidance, seeker, flight-control, and image-processing electronics. Responsibilities extend through design reviews, supplier coordination, verification testing, launch-system integration, failure investigations, and resolution of technical and program risks. The role involves close collaboration with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, test, operations, customers, and government stakeholders. It is suited to a highly experienced electrical engineer with defense or aerospace systems expertise who can lead technical work, conduct peer reviews, mentor colleagues, and obtain a Secret clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 14 years of experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceElectrical engineering background preferredU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceExperience with complex electrical architectures, embedded systems, interfaces, and system integrationStrong background in design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and failure investigationExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers
