Senior Contracts Specialist (Progeny Systems Business Area)

This position serves as the primary contracts contact for assigned customers and provides guidance on contractual commitments, performance issues, and business decisions. It supports proposals and programs by interpreting requirements, negotiating agreements, documenting outcomes, and managing changes that affect scope, cost, schedule, or risk. The specialist also maintains contract records, monitors compliance, and applies expertise in federal acquisition regulations and varied prime-contract structures. The role is part of a cross-functional contracts and program organization that works closely with internal leadership and external customers. It suits an experienced contracts professional who can independently handle complex assignments, communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and hold a current Secret clearance.
