Director, Legal Counsel

This position supports a major ASM semiconductor technology site and serves as a legal partner to sourcing, operations, and other business functions. Most of the work involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements while coordinating with ASM’s international legal organization. Depending on the candidate’s background and interests, the role may also address employment issues, regulatory obligations, governance, external counsel, and legal training. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, practical, and comfortable balancing risk with business objectives in a multinational environment. It is designed for an experienced US-qualified attorney, though high-potential lawyers with somewhat less experience may also be considered.
