This role leads a team responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical, mechanical, cooling, and controls systems that support mission-critical data center operations. The engineer serves as the primary escalation point during shifts, assigns work, coordinates vendors, and drives maintenance projects and procedures to completion. Responsibilities include operating and servicing equipment such as UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, HVAC systems, chillers, and building controls while supporting safety and emergency response. The position also develops reliability reporting and creates or reviews operating and maintenance procedures for critical work. It suits an experienced facilities professional with strong hands-on technical expertise, sound judgment, technical writing ability, and a customer-focused approach who is comfortable working onsite, on shifts, and during emergencies.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, preferably 10+Experience with mission-critical systems including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, HVAC, and controlsAbility to interpret blueprints, electrical single-lines, and schematicsExperience creating and maintaining MOPs, SOPs, and EOPsStrong leadership, coordination, technical writing, and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies
