Sr. Principal EO Signal Image Processing Engineer - 4

This engineer will lead modeling and simulation work for an EO/IR seeker team supporting launch vehicle development in Chandler, Arizona. The position involves creating image and signal-processing algorithms, realistic sensor and scene models, and closed-loop six-degree-of-freedom simulations used for performance analysis, hardware integration, and flight-test preparation. The engineer will also compare simulations with laboratory and flight data, investigate discrepancies, and improve tools implemented in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for high-performance computing environments. Success requires close coordination with guidance, navigation and control, systems, software, firmware, and hardware organizations, along with ownership of technical reviews and program deliverables. The role is well suited to an experienced EO/IR, optical systems, or seeker engineer who has led technical teams, understands defense-system verification, and enjoys mentoring engineers and improving development practices.
