This engineer will design and lead experiments and design-of-experiments activities to address materials and process challenges. They will work directly in laboratories with specialized equipment, evaluate inspection and failure-analysis results, and prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawing reviews. The position supports aerospace materials and manufacturing activities while collaborating with project teams and serving as an organizational technical contact. It is well suited to an early-career engineer with a foundation in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related STEM studies who enjoys hands-on investigation and technical problem solving. The role requires eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance and includes limited travel.
