Senior Advanced AI Software Engineer

This position is responsible for shaping the AI engineering roadmap and delivering scalable, dependable, and cost-conscious solutions for Honeywell’s automation business. The engineer will build end-to-end ML systems, optimize and assess models, establish monitoring, and manage training and deployment workflows through MLOps practices. They will partner with cross-functional teams and guide software engineers through architecture reviews, mentoring, and implementation decisions. The work is suited to an experienced AI/ML practitioner who has deployed systems at scale and understands modern generative AI techniques as well as core software engineering. The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, with hybrid work after an initial 90-day period requiring full-time onsite attendance.
