Critical Environments Operator III

This operator works within the Operations and Maintenance team under the Senior Facility Manager to protect critical infrastructure and maintain dependable data center service. Responsibilities include responding to alarms, performing switching and lockout/tagout activities, coordinating vendors, tracking work in the CMMS, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance. The position also handles customer installations, cabinet and cage preparation, cross-connects, cable certification, circuit database updates, and basic Windows server assistance. It suits an experienced data center or facility engineering professional with journeyman-level electrical, mechanical, or HVAC/R capabilities, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach. The successful candidate must be comfortable with rotating or emergency work, changing priorities, technical documentation, and hands-on use of tools and test equipment.
