Senior Principal Contracts Specialist

This position manages contractual matters from proposal development through program execution, including drafting, negotiating, documenting, and administering agreements. The specialist partners with program management, engineering, finance, supply chain, legal, customers, and subcontractors to interpret obligations, address changes, and reduce performance risks. Responsibilities also include evaluating subcontractor proposals, supporting source selection, monitoring scope, and resolving unusual or high-complexity contracting issues. The role suits an experienced contracts professional who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively, and apply federal acquisition regulations in a defense environment. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance are required.
