Sr. Principal Optomechanical Engineer - 4

This engineer will join the Electro-Optics Group and work with a multidisciplinary seeker hardware team supporting both development and flight systems. Responsibilities include creating precision optomechanical designs, conducting STOP and SILOS analyses, producing CAD and drawing packages, and helping validate designs through environmental testing. The position requires close coordination with optical, systems, electrical, manufacturing, and program stakeholders, as well as participation in reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and error-budget development. It is well suited to an experienced mechanical or optical engineer who has worked with imaging systems, precision alignment, analysis tools, and hardware exposed to demanding aerospace environments. An active Secret clearance and the ability to communicate technical conclusions clearly are essential.
