Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Thin Films Metro Module Engineer

This engineer will be part of the Ocotillo Technology Fabrication engineering organization, responsible for the safety, cleanliness, availability, matching, and performance of assigned manufacturing tools. The work includes establishing process and equipment configurations, planning experiments, building control systems, troubleshooting excursions, and improving yield, quality, productivity, stability, and defect performance. The engineer will also support new technology introductions through tool installation, conversion, qualification, process transfer, and factory ramp-up. Success requires close collaboration with process, integration, yield, production, and other engineering teams, along with occasional on-shift support and schedule flexibility. This opportunity suits an experienced STEM engineer with semiconductor or manufacturing exposure, strong statistical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic cleanroom environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience (or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 6+ months) in STEM engineering field2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong technical and troubleshooting skills with semiconductor equipment knowledgeProficiency in statistics and experimental design for tool matching and qualificationAbility to work variable shifts including day and night shift assignmentsCleanroom experience and semiconductor foundry background preferred
