Senior Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer

This engineer will support digital product development by managing builds, releases, change processes, version control, audits, libraries, and configuration records across complex engineering environments. The position belongs to RTX’s Digital Products Configuration Management organization, which uses automation and process improvement to support software, embedded systems, models, tools, and related documentation. The role also administers configuration and DevSecOps platforms, coordinates data movement and release activities, and works with program and functional leaders to deliver products on schedule. It is well suited to an experienced configuration management, DevOps, software engineering, or IT professional who is comfortable scripting across operating systems and working in Agile and CI/CD environments. The job is onsite in Tucson, Arizona and requires U.S. citizenship plus an active Secret clearance before starting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field plus minimum 5 years engineering experienceActive and transferable Secret-level DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredProficiency with version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket) and change management platformsStrong shell scripting skills in Linux, Unix, and Windows environmentsExperience with DevSecOps tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Coverity, and CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of software configuration management principles and Agile/GitFlow methodologies
