Sr Principal Engineering Design

This position develops conceptual and detailed designs for mechanisms and systems including gears, linkages, hydraulics, electromechanical assemblies, controls, and instrumentation. The designer will produce CAD models, drawings, specifications, calculations, and design changes while ensuring manufacturability, cost effectiveness, functional performance, and compliance with engineering standards. The role supports concurrent engineering activities and collaborates with structural, dynamics, systems engineering, manufacturing, and planning organizations. It is suited to an experienced aerospace or defense design professional who is highly skilled in NX and Teamcenter, GD&T, tolerance stacking, and complex product development. Candidates should be self-directed, organized, collaborative, and comfortable contributing to technically demanding vehicle and armament programs.
