ATD MIHL Equipment Development Engineer

This engineer will develop, maintain, and optimize equipment used to evaluate and manufacture advanced semiconductor packaging. The position combines mechanical design, reliability testing, process optimization, and technical problem solving across conditions such as heat, humidity, temperature cycling, and dynamic loading. The engineer will use DOE and statistical methods, define materials and quality requirements, and work with suppliers, procurement, and cross-functional manufacturing teams. It also involves establishing qualification methods, identifying failure mechanisms, managing technical risks, and driving continuous improvement toward product milestones. The role suits an experienced mechanical, materials, or metallurgical engineer with semiconductor or precision manufacturing knowledge and strong analytical and project leadership skills.
