NG Fellow 1 – Weapons Systems Software Architect

This Fellow-level position establishes long-term software architecture direction for advanced weapons, missile, guidance, and other mission-critical defense systems. The role works across software, systems, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and mission engineering organizations to create secure, resilient, verifiable architectures that can be fielded and sustained. Responsibilities span technical roadmaps, architecture trade studies, requirements interpretation, integration and verification strategy, and support for strategic proposals and captures. The position also advises chief engineers and technical leaders, communicates recommendations to senior stakeholders, and helps advance reusable engineering practices. It suits an accomplished defense or aerospace software architect with extensive real-time embedded experience, systems-level judgment, and the ability to lead through influence.
