Software Application Development Engineer

This engineer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications supporting product introduction, factory readiness, logistics, controls, and design-of-experiments planning. The position is part of Intel Foundry Automation’s NPI Tools team and works closely with Assembly Test Technology Development and Logic Technology Development factories. Responsibilities include managing assignments, communicating with customers, creating automated tests, and providing expert application support. The role suits a self-directed software professional who can solve ambiguous problems, work across remote teams, and continuously improve existing systems. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft development technologies, web interfaces, databases, object-oriented design, and Agile practices, along with the ability to obtain required U.S. government clearances.
