As a Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer within Intel's All Cores Engineering organization, you will own the verification quality of next-generation Atom CPU designs during the pre-silicon phase. Your work spans developing detailed verification plans and testbenches, executing system-level simulations, debugging complex RTL and microarchitecture issues, and driving cross-functional collaboration with architects, designers, and power/performance specialists. You'll influence architectural decisions through early verification feedback while maintaining and scaling verification infrastructure and methodologies. This role suits experienced verification engineers who excel at problem-solving, thrive in collaborative environments, and are driven to improve design quality at scale while working on processors that impact billions of users globally.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 4+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years experienceProven expertise in Design Verification methodologies using SystemVerilog, UVM, and industry-standard EDA toolsPre-silicon verification experience with CPU, SoC, or complex IP designsStrong debugging skills with SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Linux-based simulation environmentsUnderstanding of CPU microarchitecture and computer architecture conceptsExperience with power management, low-power features, and power/performance verification flows
