Lead Structural Analysis Engineer

This position supports Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs by overseeing structural analysis throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer will mentor analysts, establish structural requirements, assess designs and models, support testing, and document evidence for customers and regulators. The role also contributes to investigations of field issues, production-related concerns, and improvements to analytical methods and tools. It suits an experienced aerospace or structural engineer with substantial composite analysis expertise, leadership ability, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be eligible for the required U.S. security and export-control access and be willing to travel occasionally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical educationAt least 9 years of related engineering experienceExperience analyzing composite structures, laminates, or bonded assemblies7+ years using finite element modeling and structural analysis toolsAdvanced knowledge of aircraft structures, composites, design, and manufacturingActive U.S. Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain program access
