Identity Security - PKI Engineer

This engineer will join Intel’s Information Security organization, supporting security and compliance needs for federal programs and government-facing operations. The position involves building and managing PKI services, establishing certificate governance, automating recurring processes, and integrating identity and certificate capabilities with infrastructure, applications, Active Directory, and privileged access systems. The engineer will also monitor service health, resolve certificate and cryptographic issues, and help ensure alignment with internal policies and government requirements. Documentation, technical enablement, collaboration with security and DevOps groups, and occasional travel are part of the work. It suits a security or infrastructure professional with hands-on PKI experience who can operate in regulated environments and qualify for U.S. government clearance.

Requirements

US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years relevant PKI experience (or Master's with 2+ years)Design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)Experience with X.509 certificates, OCSP, and certificate management protocolsPKI integration experience with Active Directory, Identity, and PAM solutionsKnowledge of key length standards, hashing algorithms, and troubleshooting PKI issues
