This position sits on Raytheon Digital Technology’s Enterprise Architecture team and combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on support for agile delivery teams. The architect will create and maintain solution and portfolio architectures, lead technical decisions, manage architecture-related backlogs and risks, and help ensure designs are implemented consistently. The role partners with enterprise architects, infrastructure and cloud specialists, business leaders, program teams, and external providers to support application deployments, migrations, and modernization. It also includes coaching architects and technical staff, promoting reusable patterns, and improving the organization’s architecture practices and operating cadence. This opportunity suits an experienced technology architect who can work across complex domains, communicate effectively with executives and delivery teams, and hold an active DoD Secret clearance while supporting secure aerospace and defense programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree with at least 7 yearsExperience leading technology transformation initiatives and architecting enterprise applicationsExperience deploying and hosting applications on AWS or Microsoft AzureExperience working as an architect within Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or similar frameworksU.S. citizenship and ability to maintain an active DoD Secret security clearanceStrong communication, leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills
