Manager, Field Service

This manager leads field service activities that keep ASM semiconductor equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently at customer fabs. They coordinate complex escalations, support technology qualifications, apply structured problem-solving, and use equipment and process data to improve uptime and cost of ownership. The position works across customers, engineering, sales, account teams, EHS, and global service organizations while helping shape account and technology strategies. It also involves developing employees, setting standards for performance and safety, and building an inclusive culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement. The opportunity suits an experienced semiconductor equipment leader who can combine deep technical judgment with customer influence, people management, and comfort handling high-pressure, cross-functional challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 16+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceSignificant semiconductor equipment experience in service, field support, or customer operationsExpertise with complex equipment systems and at least two advanced semiconductor platformsExperience leading customer escalations, technology qualifications, or cross-functional taskforces1–3 years of people management or formal leadership experienceWillingness to travel up to 20% and work extended hours during critical escalations
