As a Facilities Automation and Controls Engineer, you will support factory customers and facility operations across safety, reliability, quality, environmental, and cost objectives. The position involves maintaining and improving PLC, SCADA, industrial instrumentation, and analytical systems used in manufacturing, laboratories, and building infrastructure. You will investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, prepare technical reports, support programming and calibration, and implement long-term equipment enhancements. You will also manage projects, documentation, maintenance strategies, purchasing activities, and contractor work within schedule and budget constraints. This opportunity suits an engineer with industrial automation experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, system optimization, and working in a highly regulated semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of experience (or Master's degree with 1+ years)Hands-on experience with industrial automation platforms such as GE Cimplicity or Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLCProficiency in troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, and developing engineering solutionsExperience with facility automation systems including PLC and SCADA platformsStrong project management skills within cost and time-constrained environmentsAbility to document systems, design controls, and conduct testing and calibration
