Senior Member of Technical Staff, Thin Films Engineer

This senior technical leadership role focuses on driving process innovation and excellence across critical thin film deposition technologies including CVD, ALD, PVD, and epitaxy processes for Intel's most advanced semiconductor nodes. You will operate at the intersection of Technology Development and High-Volume Manufacturing, solving complex manufacturing challenges and optimizing processes for yield, quality, and cost while supporting Intel's foundry customers. The role requires deep technical expertise combined with strategic thinking to manage multiple high-priority initiatives, lead cross-functional teams spanning integration, device, yield, and quality disciplines, and translate market dynamics into actionable technical solutions. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams and external equipment suppliers to accelerate innovation cycles and drive breakthrough improvements in manufacturability and process performance.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or STEM field5+ years semiconductor industry experience with strong focus on thin film deposition processesProven process development, technical leadership, and manufacturing engineering expertiseExperience optimizing processes with major equipment suppliers (AMAT, LAM, ASM, TEL)Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and factory automation systemsFab startup experience across manufacturing, quality, R&D, and supply chain functions
