Category Director, General Contractor

This position sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing, construction execution, legal, cost management, and commercial operations. The director develops procurement and contracting strategies, negotiates agreements, and serves as the subject matter expert for notices, changes, claims, and other contract matters throughout the project lifecycle. They will manage senior relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders while monitoring performance, forecasting outcomes, and mitigating commercial and operational risks. The role is suited to an experienced supply chain, construction, project management, finance, or operations leader with strong contract expertise and familiarity with major engineering and construction programs. Experience supporting data centers, EPC environments, and varied contract structures would be especially relevant.
