Director of Communications & PR
The Director of Communications PR will lead media relations programs spanning product launches, corporate announcements, customer stories, executive visibility, and issues management. They will work across marketing, product, legal, government affairs, investor relations, and customer teams to turn complex technology and business developments into clear, credible narratives. The position also involves managing journalist relationships, preparing executives and subject matter experts, overseeing PR agencies, responding to media inquiries, and measuring communications impact. This person will help strengthen Axon’s reputation in public safety technology while identifying emerging opportunities and risks in a highly visible industry. It suits an experienced communications or media relations strategist with strong national business, technology, or trade press connections and excellent writing skills.
