Facilities Mechanical Engineer

This engineer will oversee systems including HVAC, chilled water, boilers, oil-free compressed air, abatement, and compliance exhaust equipment. The position combines daily operational support with engineering analysis, design reviews, feasibility studies, project scoping, and commissioning of new or modified systems. The engineer will work closely with Intel business units, operations teams, maintenance providers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues safely and efficiently. The role also contributes to asset replacement planning, infrastructure roadmaps, automation initiatives, and strategic projects for future facility growth. Requirements

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years facilities engineering experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years experienceHands-on experience with oil-free air systems, HVAC, chilled water plants, boilers, or environmental abatement systemsBackground in large-scale manufacturing facility services and mechanical/control systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with global teamsDemonstrated commitment to safety and effective communication in technical and business settings
