Senior Systems Integration Test Engineer

This engineer will join RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities organization, supporting effector programs across air, land, sea, and space applications. Responsibilities include building and certifying test hardware, developing and executing verification plans, conducting environmental and operational testing, and integrating systems with military platforms. The role also involves planning flight and field missions, monitoring test data, diagnosing system issues, and producing documentation for formal technical reviews. The engineer may lead a small integration and test team and will collaborate with internal organizations, suppliers, customers, and test ranges. This position suits an experienced systems test professional who enjoys hands-on lab and field work, technical problem solving, leadership, and occasional travel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant experienceExperience with systems integration and testing in laboratory or field environmentsExperience planning or executing platform integration or flight test missionsAbility to collect and analyze data to troubleshoot technical issuesU.S. citizenship and an active or obtainable interim Secret security clearanceWillingness to work onsite in Tucson and travel up to 25%
