Principal Analog Design Engineer

As a Principal Analog Design Engineer, you will join NXP’s Advanced Power Systems team within the Power and Energy business line. You will define PMIC architectures, partition system requirements into circuit and interface specifications, and guide designs through implementation, verification, validation, and production. The work centers on analog and mixed-signal functions such as DC-DC converters, references, sensing, protection, gate drive, compensation, startup, and sequencing. You will collaborate with digital, systems, applications, validation, quality, and customers to deliver compliant solutions for demanding automotive and industrial environments. This position suits a seasoned analog IC architect or technical leader with deep power-management expertise, strong communication skills, and experience guiding cross-functional development.

Requirements

MSEE degree10+ years developing mixed-signal ICs5+ years as an architect or technical leader preferredExpertise in DC-DC converter architecture and designExperience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and AMSStrong analog transistor-level design and cross-functional communication skills
