Manufacturing Operations Manager Shift 6 – Advanced Packaging

This manager leads technicians responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, qualification, and rapid response to manufacturing issues in Intel’s substrate and wafer assembly operation. The position coordinates staffing, training, preventive and corrective maintenance, and daily floor execution to keep production stable and efficient. It partners with engineering and other functions to improve equipment capability and advance safety, quality, cost, and output performance through Lean, MBPS, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods. The successful candidate is an experienced technical leader who can coach teams, communicate clearly, solve complex problems, and remain effective in a fast-paced factory environment. The position is based onsite in Chandler and follows Shift 6 hours from 6:00 PM to 6:18 AM on alternating three- and four-day workweeks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Engineering preferred) with 3+ years relevant experience, or Master's in STEM with 2+ years experienceProven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipmentExperience developing, managing, and executing training plans for technical teamsKnowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, MBPS, or Six SigmaStrong leadership skills and ability to work on compressed work-week schedulesPreferred experience in substrate, assembly, packaging manufacturing, or equipment qualification and maintenance
