Director, IT

The Director of IT owns the overall technology function for a complex, program-driven hardware manufacturing environment serving government and commercial customers. This leader manages infrastructure, end-user services, ERP and manufacturing applications, data integrity, resilience, and the separation of corporate, engineering, laboratory, and production networks. A major focus is building and sustaining the cybersecurity and compliance program, including CMMC certification, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS reporting duties, controlled-data protection, export controls, audit readiness, and third-party risk. The role also directs governance, risk, and compliance staff, manages vendors and service providers, and communicates security posture, risks, budgets, and remediation progress to senior leadership. It suits an experienced IT leader who combines operational and financial discipline with deep knowledge of regulated environments, government contracting, manufacturing technology, and cybersecurity controls.
