Senior SATCOM Test Engineer

This engineer supports Comtech’s verification function by translating system, hardware, and software requirements into detailed tests for advanced SATCOM products. The work includes building test fixtures, automating equipment and calibration routines, and conducting integration, design verification, first-article, and production testing. The engineer will work with RF instruments, network equipment, satellite link emulators, modems, and software tools while evaluating standards such as DIFI and MIL-STD-188-165B. Responsibilities also include diagnosing equipment and software problems, monitoring defects, and preparing technical reports and visual documentation. The position suits an experienced test professional with strong programming, laboratory, networking, and satellite communications expertise who can work onsite and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams.
