Sr. Program Planner II - Onsite

This position sits within Raytheon’s Program Design & Planning organization and supports the translation of technical and program objectives into reliable execution schedules. The planner leads or assists with Integrated Master Schedules, baseline maintenance, schedule risk analysis, workflow validation and earned value reporting, depending on program complexity. They work closely with program managers, engineering teams and functional subject-matter experts to identify missing work, resolve planning issues and incorporate risk mitigation actions. The role is well suited to an experienced program scheduling or project management professional who is comfortable with defense-program processes, analytical work and cross-functional collaboration. It also offers opportunities to coach less-experienced planners and improve scheduling and EVMS practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of program planning/scheduling/project management experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years experienceProficiency with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Open PlanDemonstrated experience developing Integrated Master Schedules and analyzing critical path/workflowExperience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or equivalent business processActive and transferable Secret-level security clearance required on day 1; U.S. citizenship requiredAbility to work full-time onsite in Tucson, Arizona
