The DFT Application Engineer serves as a primary technical resource for Intel Foundry Services customers, specializing in helping them implement design-for-test solutions, validate manufacturing processes, and optimize design flows for advanced semiconductor nodes. The role bridges internal Intel engineering teams with external customers, working to resolve complex technical challenges in ASIC design and ensuring quality standards throughout the tape-out process. This position involves developing documentation, delivering training, and collaborating across RTL design, physical implementation, and EDA tool vendors to support customers in the aerospace, defense, and government sectors. The ideal candidate combines deep DFT technical expertise with strong customer communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Requirements

US Citizenship with ability to obtain US Government Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or STEM field3+ years experience with advanced CMOS processes (22nm and below)3+ years implementing ASIC DFT/DFM insertion (MBIST, LBIST, SCAN, JTAG) and ATPG validation2+ years scripting experience (Python, Perl, Tcl, shell scripting)Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
